How it works

Most brand deals are settled in a few messages, and the same few situations come up again and again: an offer below your rate, a question about what you charge, usage rights asked for free, product instead of a fee, more videos for the same money. A short, friendly reply that names your rate and offers a way forward usually gets a better answer than silence or a flat no.

These templates cover those five situations, two replies each: one that holds your rate and one that offers another way to meet. The tool fills in your rate, their offer and what they asked for, in your currency. Where it helps, a reply can quote what sellers in your country or niche ask per video on public marketplaces, with the listings, sellers and week, so the brand can see your number has a basis.

What it uses

The templates are Fluencify's own and are filled in in your browser. Nothing you type is sent, unless you choose to adapt the wording with AI.

Market prices only: what UGC creators ask per video, content only, from public listings on a large freelance marketplace, read every week. Each range is the middle half of sellers, the 25th to the 75th percentile, with the median, and it shows how many listings and sellers it rests on and the week it was read. A range needs at least 30 listings from 7 sellers; a pick with fewer uses the next range up and says so. No seller or listing is ever shown, and neither is Fluencify's own pay data. The method is on the UGC rates page.

If you choose Adapt the wording with AI, what the brand said, the brand's name, what they asked for, the channel, the tone and your note are sent to an open-weight language model run on Cloudflare Workers AI, with instructions Fluencify wrote. Your amounts are never sent: the model writes placeholders, and this page fills in your numbers afterwards. We do not keep what you type. So that a repeat request does not run the model again, the result is cached for up to seven days under a fingerprint of your answers, and then it is gone. It never invents results, numbers or claims: where a fact is missing, it leaves a placeholder in square brackets for you to fill in.

Step by step

  1. Pick what the brand said, and add what they asked for and the brand's name.
  2. Add your rate and their offer, in your currency, if you want them in the replies.
  3. Choose Email or DM, a tone, and whether to quote what sellers ask per video.
  4. Press Write my replies. Fill in anything still in square brackets, read it through, and send it from your own account.

What comes out

  • Counter with your rate:
  • Hi [brand] team,
  • Thank you for the offer, I would love to work on this with you.
  • For one 30-second TikTok video, my rate is [your rate]. That covers the concept, filming, editing and one round of changes.
  • For reference, sellers in the United States ask $55 to $148.75 per video, content only, on a large freelance marketplace (median $100; 326 listings from 250 sellers, updated 28 September 2026). Source: fluencify.io/ugc-rates.
  • If [their offer] is a fixed budget, I can suggest a smaller scope that fits it. Let me know which you prefer.
  • Thanks,
  • [your name]

Questions

How do I reply to a low UGC offer?

Thank them, name your rate and what it covers, and offer a way to meet: a smaller scope for their budget, or the full scope at your rate. Keep it short and friendly, and do not apologise for your price.

Should I mention what other creators ask?

It can help if it supports your rate. The templates can quote what sellers ask per video on public marketplaces, with the listings, sellers and week it rests on. Leave it out when it does not help your case.

Should I accept free product instead of a fee?

That is your call. If you only take paid work, say so kindly and give your rate: one of the templates does exactly that, and another declines while leaving the door open.

What does the AI option change?

It adapts the wording to what you tell it, such as a detail from the brand's message. It never sees your amounts, and the templates as written work well for most replies without sending anything.

Can I use these in a DM?

Yes. Choose DM for a shorter reply without a sign-off, or Email for a greeting and a sign-off with your name.
