How it works

An offer can come as a flat fee for a video or as a rate per 1,000 views. The fairest comparison is a fee for one video, content only, against what other creators ask for one: posting on your account, usage rights for ads and exclusivity are priced on top.

This checker places a fee for one video below, within or above the middle half of what UGC creators ask per video for what you film and where you're based, with the number of listings and sellers and the week beside it. It tells you where an offer sits, never whether to take it. A rate per 1,000 views has no market price to compare with, so the checker works it out as a fee for the video and says so.

What it uses

Market prices only: what UGC creators ask per video, content only, from public listings on a large freelance marketplace, read every week. Each range is the middle half of sellers, the 25th to the 75th percentile, with the median, and it shows how many listings and sellers it rests on and the week it was read. A range needs at least 30 listings from 7 sellers; a pick with fewer uses the next range up and says so. No seller or listing is ever shown, and neither is Fluencify's own pay data. The method is on the UGC rates page.

Your answers stay in your browser: the arithmetic happens on your device. Nothing you type is sent to Fluencify; we only count that the tool was used, with the niche you picked. The market prices are in US dollars, so the offer goes in in US dollars too: the checker converts nothing.

Step by step

  1. Choose whether the offer is a flat fee per video or a rate per 1,000 views, and enter it in US dollars.
  2. Pick what you film and where you're based.
  3. For a rate per 1,000 views, add the views you expect: it becomes a fee for the video.
  4. Press Check my offer. A flat fee is placed against the range; a rate per 1,000 views is worked out and not compared.

Example

A $30 flat fee for one Beauty video (a made-up offer)

What goes in

The offer
a $30 flat fee for one video (made up)
What you film
Beauty
Where you're based
United States

What comes out

  • Your $30 flat fee for one video is below the range. At least three quarters of these listings ask more than your offer.
  • UGC creators in the US who film Beauty ask $50 to $146.25 per video, content only, on a large freelance marketplace (median $77.50; 40 listings from 38 sellers, updated 28 September 2026).
  • The range is what sellers list for one video, content only. A deal is more than its fee: posting on your account, usage rights for ads and exclusivity are extra, so ask for those on top.

Questions

How do I know if a UGC offer is fair?

Compare a fee for one video with what other creators ask for one, content only. Then look at everything else in the deal: usage rights, ads through your account, exclusivity, revisions and when you are paid.

What does below the range mean?

That the fee is under the 25th percentile of asking prices: at least three quarters of these listings ask more for one video. It does not make the offer wrong for you. It tells you where it sits.

Can it check a rate per 1,000 views?

It works it out as a fee for the video at the views you expect, but it does not place it against anything: no market price per 1,000 views is published. Ask the brand for a fee per video to compare it.

Can I check an offer in euros or pounds?

Convert it to US dollars at the current exchange rate first. The market prices are in US dollars, and the checker does not convert currencies itself, because an exchange rate we picked would be a number we made up.
