How it works

A demo video shows one thing a product does, from start to finish, quickly enough to hold attention. A storyboard plans it frame by frame, so the screen recording, what you say and the words on screen all line up.

This generator storyboards a short demo of an app, a website or a physical product. Each frame has a time range, what is on screen, what you do, the voiceover and optional on-screen text, and the storyboard ends with every screen or moment to capture before you edit.

What it uses

Only what you type into the form. Your answers are sent to an open-weight language model run on Cloudflare Workers AI, with instructions Fluencify wrote for this tool. It uses no Fluencify campaign or pay data.

We do not keep what you type. So that a repeat request does not run the model again, the result is cached for up to seven days under a fingerprint of your answers, and then it is gone. It never invents results, numbers or claims: where a fact is missing, it leaves a placeholder in square brackets for you to fill in.

It shows only the feature and the steps you describe. It will not invent screens, features, prices or results, so a demo filmed from it matches what the product really does.

Step by step

  1. Pick whether it is an app or website or a physical product, and name it.
  2. Describe what it does and the one feature or task you want to show.
  3. Pick the length, the platform and a style, such as a screen recording with voiceover.
  4. Press Write my storyboard, capture everything on the list, then film and edit frame by frame.

Example

An app demo as a screen recording with voiceover

What goes in

Product name
Orbit Notes (a made-up app)
What it does, and the feature to show
turns a voice note into a to-do list; show recording a note and the list appearing
Length
30 seconds
Style
Screen recording with voiceover

What comes out

  • 0-3s. On screen: a pile of unplayed voice notes. Say: My to-do list used to be voice notes I never listened to again.
  • 3-12s. On screen: you tap record in Orbit Notes and say three tasks. Text: Just talk.
  • 12-24s. On screen: the tasks appear as a checklist. Say: It turns what I said into a list I can tick off.
  • 24-30s. On screen: the first task gets ticked. Say: If your notes are chaos too, it is linked below.
  • Capture first: the empty app, the record button, the finished list and a task being ticked.

Questions

What makes a good demo video?

One feature, shown from start to finish, with the result on screen early. Many people watch without sound, so the on-screen text should carry the message too.

How do I record my phone screen?

Most phones have a screen recorder in their quick settings or control centre. Turn on do not disturb first, so no notifications appear in the recording.

Can I storyboard a physical product?

Yes. Pick A physical product and the frames describe close-ups of each step instead of screens. Good light and a clear background matter most there.

Will it add features to make the demo look better?

No. It only shows what you describe: a demo that shows something the product cannot do misleads viewers and gets videos rejected by brands.

Where can I make demo videos for brands?

App and product brands post UGC gigs on Fluencify. Sign up free to apply, and keep your storyboards with your account.
