How it works

A UGC budget starts with what creators charge for the videos, before product, usage rights and ad spend. The clearest unit is a price per video, content only.

This calculator multiplies the videos you want by what UGC creators ask per video for your niche and where you want creators, at the 25th percentile, the median and the 75th percentile, with the number of listings and sellers and the week beside it. It is not Fluencify's price.

What it uses

Market prices only: what UGC creators ask per video, content only, from public listings on a large freelance marketplace, read every week. Each range is the middle half of sellers, the 25th to the 75th percentile, with the median, and it shows how many listings and sellers it rests on and the week it was read. A range needs at least 30 listings from 7 sellers; a pick with fewer uses the next range up and says so. No seller or listing is ever shown, and neither is Fluencify's own pay data. The method is on the UGC rates page.

What Fluencify charges brands is a different number: Fluencify prices a campaign as one monthly amount agreed before work starts, covering creators, production, usage rights and payouts. These tools never quote it.

Step by step

  1. Enter how many videos you want across the whole campaign.
  2. Pick your brand's niche and where you want creators, if it matters.
  3. Press Work out my budget. If your picks have too few listings for a price of their own, the result uses the next one up and says which.
  4. Add product, usage rights and ad spend on top before you set the budget.

Questions

How much does UGC cost?

It depends on how many videos you want and what the creators ask for them, with product, usage rights and any ad spend on top. This calculator works out the videos at what creators ask per video on a large freelance marketplace, by niche and seller country.

Is this what Fluencify charges?

No. What Fluencify charges brands is a different number: Fluencify prices a campaign as one monthly amount agreed before work starts, covering creators, production, usage rights and payouts. These tools never quote it. The pricing page explains how it works.

Why a range and not one number?

Creators ask different prices. A range shows the middle half of asking prices, with the median marked, so you see a low, a typical and a high budget instead of one number that hides the spread.

Why does it use another niche or country than I picked?

A price needs at least 30 listings from 7 sellers. When your picks have fewer, the calculator uses the next price up, such as your niche in every country, and says which one it used.

How do I get a shortlist of creators?

Brand accounts on Fluencify are set up with the team rather than self-served. Book a call and your numbers come with you: they are where a shortlist of creators who fit your brand starts.
