The hook is the first second or two of a video ad: the line and the picture that decide whether someone keeps watching. In UGC ads, a hook works when it sounds like a person talking, not a brand announcing.
This library has eight hooks for each of fourteen industries, one per angle: problem and fix, curiosity, POV, before and after, myth busting, honest review, a question and a confession. Each comes with a note on what to show on screen while it is said. Add your product's name and the hooks fill it in; pick a single angle and you also see how that angle is written for the other industries.
What it uses
Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to Fluencify; we only count that the tool was used.
The hooks are written by Fluencify, not generated. They leave out results promises and health, money or legal claims on purpose; anything you add in their place has to be something you can back up.
Step by step
- Pick your industry, and an angle if you want only one kind.
- Add your product's name to fill it into the hooks.
- Press Show me hooks, and copy the ones that fit your brand's voice.
- Give creators several hooks for the same video, and keep the ones that hold viewers longest in your ad reports.
