Creator brief generator

A clear brief gets better videos. Describe your product, the goal and the audience, and get a brief you can send to creators.

This tool is in labs: it works, and we are still testing it. What it makes is yours to keep.

How it works

A creator brief tells a creator what to make: the product, who it is for, what every video must get across, and what it must avoid. Without one, videos miss the point and revisions pile up.

This generator writes a first draft from a few answers: a title and summary, the deliverables, key messages, hooks and shot ideas to try, do's and don'ts, and a line on labelling the video as an ad.

Which data it uses

Only what you type into the form. Your answers are sent to an open-weight language model run on Cloudflare Workers AI, with instructions Fluencify wrote for this tool. It uses no Fluencify campaign or pay data.

We do not keep what you type. So that a repeat request is quick, the result is cached for up to seven days under a fingerprint of your answers, and then it is gone. It never invents results, numbers or claims: where a fact is missing, it leaves a placeholder in square brackets for you to fill in.

It never adds a budget, a fee, a deadline or usage terms. You set those, and on Fluencify they are part of the campaign, not the brief.

Step by step

  1. Describe the product and what makes it different, and pick what the videos are for.
  2. Say who you want to reach, on which platform, and how many videos each creator makes.
  3. Add what every video must get across, and anything creators must not say or show.
  4. Press Write my brief, check every line, and send it or post it.

Example

A brief for a product launch

What goes in

Brand
Sipwise (a made-up brand)
Product
a smart bottle that glows when you forget to drink and logs every sip
What the videos are for
A launch
Who you want to reach
desk workers aged 25 to 40

What comes out

  • Title: Make drinking water a habit with Sipwise
  • Deliverables: one vertical video, 20 to 40 seconds, showing the bottle in your real workday.
  • Key messages: it reminds you without an app notification; it makes drinking water a habit.
  • Don'ts: no health or weight-loss claims; no other bottles in shot.
  • Disclosure: label the video as an ad using the platform's paid partnership label.

Questions

What should a UGC brief include?

The product and what makes it different, the audience, the goal, the deliverables, the messages every video must carry, and what creators must not say or show. The fee, usage rights and deadline go in the agreement you send with it.

How long should a brief be?

Short enough to read in a minute. Creators film better when the must-haves are clear and the rest is left to them.

Why does the brief not include a budget?

Because only you know it. The generator never guesses fees, rates or deadlines.

Do creators have to label the videos as ads?

Paid or gifted content usually has to be labelled as an ad. The brief reminds creators to use the platform's own label; check the rules in each country you run in.

How do I get creators to film it?
