Caption generator

Say what happens in the video and what you want viewers to do. Get five captions to choose from.

This tool is in labs: it works, and we are still testing it. What it makes is yours to keep.

How it works

A caption gives a video its context and asks the viewer to do one thing: comment, save, follow or tap a link. Short captions with one clear ask are the easiest to act on.

This generator writes five different captions for one video, in the tone you pick, each ending with the action you want. Hashtags come separately so you can keep or drop them.

Which data it uses

Only what you type into the form. Your answers are sent to an open-weight language model run on Cloudflare Workers AI, with instructions Fluencify wrote for this tool. It uses no Fluencify campaign or pay data.

We do not keep what you type. So that a repeat request is quick, the result is cached for up to seven days under a fingerprint of your answers, and then it is gone. It never invents results, numbers or claims: where a fact is missing, it leaves a placeholder in square brackets for you to fill in.

Step by step

  1. Describe what happens in the video in a sentence or two.
  2. Pick the platform, what you want viewers to do, and a tone.
  3. Choose whether you want hashtags and emojis.
  4. Press Write my captions, pick one, and edit it until it sounds like you.

Questions

How long should a caption be?

Short enough to read before the video loops. Put the point in the first line, because platforms cut captions off after a line or two until someone taps.

How many hashtags should I use?

A few specific ones beat a long list of broad ones. Pick tags that people in your niche actually search for or follow.

Can I use these captions for a brand's video?

Yes. If the video is paid or gifted, add the platform's paid partnership label or the disclosure the brand asks for.

Why are there no emojis?

Emojis are off unless you switch them on, so the captions fit any style. Choose Yes to add one or two.
