Brief translator

Paste a brief and pick a language. Get a translation that keeps the headings, names, hashtags, links and numbers exactly as written, with notes on anything unclear.

This tool is in labs: it works, and we are still testing it. What it makes is yours to keep.

Up to 3,000 characters at a time. Names, @handles, #hashtags, links and numbers are kept as written.

How it works

A brief only works if the creator understands it. When the brand and the creator do not share a language, a rough translation can lose a must-say, garble a hashtag or change a number, and the video misses.

This translator keeps the brief's structure, and keeps brand and product names, @handles, #hashtags, links and every number exactly as written. It lists those terms so you can check them, and notes anything unclear: for a creator, what to ask the brand; for a brand, lines that may not land in the new language.

Which data it uses

Only what you type into the form. Your answers are sent to an open-weight language model run on Cloudflare Workers AI, with instructions Fluencify wrote for this tool. It uses no Fluencify campaign or pay data.

We do not keep what you type. So that a repeat request is quick, the result is cached for up to seven days under a fingerprint of your answers, and then it is gone. It never invents results, numbers or claims: where a fact is missing, it leaves a placeholder in square brackets for you to fill in.

There is no file upload: you paste the text itself. Beyond the seven-day cache described above, it is not stored. Leave out anything private, such as your address or payment details.

A language model can get a translation wrong. Have a native speaker read the must-says and the don'ts before anyone films.

Step by step

  1. Paste the brief, up to 3,000 characters at a time. Split a longer brief into parts.
  2. Pick the language to translate into, and whether you are the creator or the brand.
  3. Press Translate my brief.
  4. Check the terms kept as written and read the notes, then copy the translation.

Example

A short English brief translated into Spanish

What goes in

The brief
Show the Sipwise bottle (a made-up brand) glowing on your desk. Must say: it reminds you to drink. Use #SipwiseDesk. Don't: health claims.
Translate into
Spanish
You are
The creator

What comes out

  • Muestra la botella Sipwise brillando en tu escritorio. Tienes que decir: te recuerda que bebas. Usa #SipwiseDesk. No: afirmaciones de salud.
  • Kept exactly as written: Sipwise, #SipwiseDesk.
  • Note: the brief does not say how long the video should be, so ask the brand before you film.

Questions

Which languages can it translate into?

The ones in the list. The model is strongest in widely used languages; whichever you pick, have a native speaker read the result before a video is filmed from it.

Does it change names, hashtags or numbers?

It is told not to: brand and product names, @handles, #hashtags, links, dates and numbers stay exactly as written, and it lists them so you can check.

Can it translate the pay section?

Yes, as written. Every result is also checked for income promises, so a line such as "you will be paid" followed by an amount can stop the translation. Write pay as a plain term, like "Fee: [amount] per video", and it goes through.

Should the brand or the creator translate the brief?

Either. A brand can translate before posting, so every creator reads the brief in their own language; a creator can translate a brief they were sent. Pick which one you are, and the notes are written for you.

Where can I post a brief in another language?

On Fluencify, brands post campaigns and creators apply to them. Sign up free to post a brief, or to find gigs in your language.
