How it works

Before a brand books a creator, it looks at more than the videos: a clear profile, work it can see, a way to reach you, and signs that you will deliver on time and invoice properly.

This checklist covers those basics in five groups. Tick what you already have, and you get a short list of what to fix first, with a tip for each.

Which data it uses

Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to Fluencify; we only count that the tool was used.

The list is Fluencify's own view of what brands look for when they pick UGC creators. It is a checklist, not a score of your account.

Step by step

  1. Read each line and tick it only if it is already true.
  2. Press Check my answers.
  3. Start with the first group that has gaps, and use the tips to close them.
  4. Come back and tick again when you have made changes.

What comes out

  • Almost there.
  • Fix first: decide what you would charge, get a contract template, set up an invoice, and learn how to label paid posts.

Questions

Do I need a lot of followers for brand deals?

Not for UGC. Brands pay UGC creators for the videos themselves, often to post on the brand's own accounts or to run as ads, so how well you film matters more than your follower count.

What should be in a UGC portfolio?

A few short videos that show a product the way an ad would: a hook, the product in use, and a clear ending. If you have no clients yet, film them with things you already own.

How do I decide what to charge?

Decide what a video is worth to you before a brand asks, and what changes the price: usage rights, raw footage, exclusivity and rush deadlines.

Is this checklist a score of my account?

No. It is a list of what brands tend to look for, and your answers stay in your browser.

What do I do when I am ready?

Apply to gigs. On Fluencify, brands post UGC gigs and you apply with your videos. Sign up free to see them.
